Lesson #17 on a Journey to a Water Well Friday, June 17, 2016 How do you articulate what words are inadequate to express? Our two-and-a-half-year perceived purpose culminated on this day, the dedication of the water well. But you and I know, God’s purpose for this well far exceeded the dedication or the well itself. The Lord works in mysterious ways. But God allowing you the opportunity to unravel the mystery is half the fun. A couple of weeks before we departed for Uganda, our missionary friend and country director Continue Reading
When God takes you to the middle-of-no where and leads you to pray with strangers…
Monday night we returned from a last-minute trip to Colorado. Tim and I had met on a dude ranch in Colorado and taking the kids to the ranch had been on our bucket list. All it took, was the prospect of virtual learning for the next nine weeks to get us on a plane headed west. I hope you'll read the verses for yourself but let's recap, just in Continue Reading
Follow-up SYATP/Reminder Bring Your Bible to School
I wanted to hop on and give a quick follow up from SYATP and a reminder for Bring Your Bible to School on Oct 3. There were some encouraging take-aways from SYATP. A High-Schooler, who attended our event with her Middle School brother, asked to take/use any remaining prayer cards to the High School SYATP. A friend at a neighboring school caught wind of what we were doing and helped organized a SYATP event at her school. AND--they had a Continue Reading
