It’s Giveaway Time!

I want to be intentional this summer about highlighting individuals who are living out the Word of God. If my own personal goal is to live out His Word, it would be wise for me to get an idea where I’m heading.

Living out God’s Word will look different for each of us, but remarkably similar at the same time. We will all be required to “get out of the boat” at some point. It might mean we will have to engage in some potentially awkward conversations or situations. We may need to give a little money or time. We’ll certainly need to pour out some love, but the particular love language we use may vary depending on the person/persons God is calling us to serve.

Hopefully, when you read how Shelene Bryan shopped to the glory of God, it encouraged you. I love how God wanted to use a one-day shopping spree to crack the vault of one girl’s heart. I LOVE how He pursues us with His love, wooing us through our own particular love language.

So now…I’m thinking the best thing to do is to give away a copy of Love Skip Jump!! I hope you will read it for yourself and be inspired (even if you don’t win the copy I’m giving away). You will laugh at her wit and cry as you realize all God has in mind for you.

  1. I have not read all , but the just of what I read for me was be more like Christ each day . Also practice what you preach according to the Bible.

Coming back from a Brazil mission trip , I was able to practice what I preach. I was moved up to first class business. All the amenities. We were given nice head phones to use . When getting ready to leave the the plane, I asked my neighbor if I could take the head phones with me? He said sure. ( I had not read the print on the head phones that said to leave them on the plane) .
By the next flight I noticed my mistake.
I told my friends what happened. They teased me about it and said not to worry, it happens all the time . I told them I was going to give them back on the next leg of our flight. Someone said is your Conscience getting to you? I said no , I just wanted to practice what I preached.
Be intentional. As Dana Wrinkle has said.

    1. Amen Bob! Lord, change my heart, change my life! Thank you Bob for living out the Word of God!! I see your light shining.
